He’s behind me, isn’t he, and he’s wearing that stupid grin.

Travelocity Twins

We had a little fun with the Travelocity Gnome and Adobe photoshop. It’s not too hard if you use the quick select tool. Once you’ve captured your subject, don’t just plop it in. You’ll want to resize the selection and fiddle with the hue and saturation. You might even want to add additional details, like a shadow using the airbrush or drop shadow tool to make the image more believable.

Aren Elliott

Aren Elliott has been to more countries than most people. Unfortunately he was only 1 1/2 at the time. So his parent's are trying to make up for this by taking the whole family across the country by car to experience American culture state by state.

A few years ago we took a picture of a gnome that was on a friend’s lawn. We then ‘planted’ the gnome in the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Leaning Tower, and standing with a guard in London. We sent the pictures (about 10 of them) to our friends. It took them about 5 pictures to realize it was their gnome in the pictures. :-)
