#FamilyTravel Live: Washington D.C. edition

Lincoln Memorial

We’re thrilled to be broadcasting our Away is Home #Familytravel Live show from Washington D.C. this week. Our focus will be on the politics of traveling with the family and the best things to see and do at our nation’s Capital.

Tune in to this page at 9 a.m. EDT on Thursday, June 6, 2013. The after party will air right here:

As you know, #Familytravel live happens across all major social media, from Twitter to Google Plus to Facebook. But you can see it all right here if you just want to watch. Which is fine with us.

Right after the social media event, we’ll live stream our after party.

Here’s our Twitter Feed

So, what’s #Familytravel Live? Well, simply put, it’s an interactive, cross-platform adventure starring you. Here are the details.

National Museum of American History

This week’s discussion comes to you live from our nation’s Capital, Washington D.C. We’ve visited the area every year for the past four years and have discovered a few favorite spots.

How about you? Where have you been? How are you getting there? What are you looking forward to?

Since we do most of our travel by car, we’re also interested in how you govern long drives? Is it a democracy, republic or dictatorship or does it change with the circumstances?.

How to participate

You can send us your questions by email or post them under the #familytravel hashtag on Twitter or Google Plus.

Oh, and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and Google Plus.

We’ll also post event invites to our Facebook and Google Plus pages. Follow us there and let us know you’re coming to the party!

See you there.
